Sew Much Fun at the AQS Quilt Show in Paducahn
April 20 to 26, 2026
COST: $2,085 pp, and includes motorcoach transportation, tour director service, 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 4 dinners, Columbus Food Tour, Picnic Lunch Cruise on the Belle of Louisville, multi-day admission to the 2026 AQS Annual Quilt Show, guided Mural Tour of Paducah, admission to the National Quilt Museum, free time at Calico Country Sew & Vac, free time at Hancock's of Paducah, free time at English's Sew & Vac, Cincinnati Dinner Train, 6 nights lodging, all taxes, meal and local guide gratuities, and roundtrip luggage service.

DAY 1: Monday, April 20 ... (7 hours travel time)

  • Depart from the Terminal - Available pickups: Mansfield, Blossburg, Liberty, Williamsport
    PLEASE NOTE: The above pickups are available, but you must call to confirm. We do not stop at all pickup locations, unless people are designated to get on at the pickup locations.
  • BREAKFAST is included this morning.
  • Lunch and rest breaks will be made as needed.
  • Arrive in COLUMBUS, OH and check into the DRURY DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS for a ONE-NIGHT STAY
  • Tonight for DINNER, embark on a FOOD TOUR.  You will start with a short walk in German Village's beautiful Schiller Park, where you will learn about the park's history and visit its famous UMBRELLA GIRL STATUE.  Enjoy SOFT BAVARIAN PRETZELS from the local food vendor Brezel while you wander. Next, you will hop back on the bus for a short ride to SCHMIDT'S SAUSAGE HAUS, a longtime Columbus landmark, where you will enjoy a GERMAN FEAST including Schmidt's famous smoked Bahama Mama sausages, German potato salad, sauerkraut and cream puffs.  Finally, on the ride to the hotel, enjoy ICE CREAM CUPS from Solumbus' most well-known ice cream maker, JENI'S SPLENDID ICE CREAMS.

DAY 2: Tuesday, April 21 ... (3 hours travel time, then 3 hours & 15 minutes travel time)

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel, to start off your morning.
  • Depart for LOUISVILLE, KY and enjoy a PICNIC LUNCH CRUISE aboard the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE.
  • Depart for PADUCAH, KY and check into the NEWLY-RENOVATED GARNET HOTEL for a FOUR-NIGHT STAY
  • Independent dinner this evening. 

DAY 3: Wednesday, April 22

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • Today, enjoy ADMISSION to the AMERICAN QUILTER'S SOCIETY ANNUAL SPRING QUILT SHOW.  Before entering the show, meet QUILTMAN for a welcome and photo opportunity.  Participate in quilt worshops, attend engaging lectures, and journey down aisles of fabrics, notions, and more at the Vendor Mall.  Immerse yourself in the beauuty of award-winning quilts, semi-finalists contest quilts, and special exhibits that will surely inspire you. 
  • DINNER is included this evening.

DAY 4: Thursday, April 23

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • This morning, meet your STEP-ON GUIDE for a GUIDED MURAL TOUR of Paducah.
  • Next, enjoy ADMISSION to the NATIONAL QUILT MUSEUM, a captivating stop where the world of quilting transcends tradition and embraces contemporary artistry.  Here, discover stunning fabric creations that push boundaries and redefine quilting as an expressive art form.  The National Quilt Museum showcases a remarkable collection of contemprary quilts, each a testament to the boundless imagination and skill of its creators.  You'll be inspired by the fusion of fabric, color, and design that transforms quilts into breathtaking works of art. 
  • Enjoy the rest of the afernoon at the QUILT SHOW.
  • Dinner will be on your own this evening.

DAY 5: Friday, April 24

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • Start the day shopping at CALICO COUNTRY SEW & VAC, a full-service sewing machine, vaccuum, and quilting store, making it a premier destination for crafters and fabric enthusiasts alike.  This locally-owned shop offers an extensive selection of unique fabrics, quilting supplies, and distinctive gifts.  Knowledgeable staff are on hand to provide expert advice, ensuring every visitor leaves with the tools needed to pursue their crafting passions.
  • Continue your shopping day at HANCOCK'S OF PADUCAH.  This renowned store offers an extensive selection of fabrics, sewing notions, and crafting supplies to satisfy those creative quilting needs.  Immerse in a world of color and texture in aisles filled with a diverse range of fabrics, from quilting cotton to designer prints.  Knowledgeable staff members are available to assist and inspire, ensuring customers find the perfect materials for their next project. 
  • Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at the QUILT SHOW.  
  • FAREWELL DINNER is included this evening for your last night in Paducah.  

DAY 6: Saturday, April 25 ... (5 hours travel time)

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel, before checking out.
  • Before leaving town, we will make one last shopping stop at ENGLISH'S SEW & VAC, a family-owned Paducah establishment, dating back over 50 years.  An authorized Brother dealer, English's is ready to pair you with the fabric, notions, and machines you need to create your next masterpiece.  Connect with the friendly, knowledgeable staff and peruse a large variety of sewing and embroidery machines in this quilt shop that is a favorite for locals and visitors alike. 
  • Depart from Paducah, with an independent lunch stop en route.
  • Arrive in CINCINNATI, OH and check into the FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES NEWPORT CINCINNATI for a ONE-NIGHT STAY.
  • Tonight, it's "ALL ABOARD" the CINCINNATI DINNER TRAIN to feast in a 1950s era dining car!  Please note: The train strictly enforces a business casual dress code.  Blue jeans are discouraged.  Shorts, flip flop or thong sandals, and sleeveless T-shirts are not permitted.  It is strongly encouraged that passengers get into the swing of things by dressing in their best 1940s vintage clothing.  Although not required, it sure makes it fun for everyone when passengers show up looking as if they stepped out of a 1940s LIFE magazine!  

 DAY 5: Sunday, April 26 ... (8 hours travel time)

  • BREAKFAST is included before checking out and departing for home.
  • An independent lunch break will be made en route home.
  • Return home full of ideas for your next quilting project!
