Boston's Fourth of July Spectacular!
July 3 to 5, 2026

COST: $1,410 per person, based on double occupancy, and includes motorcoach transportation, Benedict's Tour Director, 3 breakfasts, 1 luncheon cruise, 2 dinners, all activities and attractions listed in the itinerary below, 2 nights lodging at a beautiful Cambridge hotel, and roundtrip luggage service at each hotel.

Single: $1,710;  Triple: $1,310 pp;  Quad: $1,286 pp

A $250 pp deposit ($100 non-refundable per person) is due within three weeks of making your reservation. Final balance is due 5/21/26. Please call the office for travel insurance information.

Friday, July 3

  • Depart from Terminal. Available Pickups: Mansfield, Lawrenceville, Big Flats, Sayre
  • BREAKFAST is included at Cracker Barrel in Binghamton.
  • Lunch and rest breaks en route, as needed.
  • On arrival to Boston, we will enjoy our first stop at QUINCY MARKET and FANEUILL HALL MARKETPLACE.  For over 250 years, the marketplace has played an integral role in the life of Boston's residents.  You will feel the cobblestones beneath your feet, see roaming performers and be able to taste the wonderfully diverse ethnic foods available to you.  There are 100 shops, carts and artisans that offer treasures for you to take home with you!
  • Depart from Boston, with DINNER included at a local restaurant en route to the hotel.
  • At approximately 8 pm, we will check in to our CAMBRIDGE HOTEL, your home for the next 2 nights.  LUGGAGE SERVICE is included.  This hotel has a BAR & LOUNGE area, as well as an INDOOR SWIMMING POOL, GYM and COURTYARD.   

Saturday, July 4

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel. (You may want to eat lightly, since lunch begins on the cruise at 11 am.)
  • This morning, we will meet our LOCAL GUIDE at the hotel, to embark with BOSTON HISTORICAL COMMENTARY en route to our cruise ship.
  • Upon arrival at the COMMONWEALTH PIER at the WORLD TRADE CENTER, we will board our BOSTON HARBOR CRUISE SHIP.
  • On this cruise, you will enjoy a view of Boston from the harbor, while enjoying a delicious LUNCH.  There is also music by a DJ included as well.  You will experience a 21 GUN SALUTE, by USS CONSTITUTION CANNONS, when she reaches FORT INDEPENDENCE on CASTLE ISLAND!  
  • Following the cruise, we will re-board the coach and travel to the Navy Yard.
  • Next, we will visit the CHARLESTOWN NAVY YARD run by the National Parks Service, where you will get to see the USS CONSTITUTION "OLD IRONSIDES."  Located in the Charlestown Navy Yard, the USS Constitution was launched in Boston on October 21, 1797, and is the oldest commussioned warship afloat in the world.  Today, she is manned by an active duty U.S. Navy Crew.

You will also have time to visit the CONSTITUTION VISITOR'S CENTER with memorabilia and gifts.  The USS CONSTITUTION MUSEUM is a private, non-profit museum which includes a theatre, over 3,000 historical artifacts, interactive exhibits and a gift shop.

Self-guided tours are also available of the USS CASSIN YOUNG, a World War II Navy destroyer.

  • Depart to return to the hotel.
  • Dinner will be on your own tonight at the hotel restaurant, or you can grab something quick at the food tent pitched in front of the hotel.
  • Tonight, take your chairs and sit back to enjoy the highlight of this trip: BOSTON FIREWORKS FOURTH OF JULY SPECTACULAR!

Sunday, July 5

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • Check out and depart the hotel with our LOCAL GUIDE for a NARRATED DRIVING TOUR of HARVARD UNIVERSITY and CAMBRIDGE
  • Our last activity of the trip will be ADMISSION to the JFK LIBRARY & MUSEUM.  The museum at the Kennedy Library captures the powerful story of the Kennedy years, giving visitors of all ages and uplifting, "first-hand" experience of President Kennedy's life, leadership and legacy.
  • Depart to return home, with a wonderful FAREWELL DINNER included along the route.
  • Return to Wellsboro, with festive memories of your Boston Fourth of July Spectacular!
