Depart for BIRMINGHAM, AL. Check in to the DRURY INN & SUITES GRANDVIEW for your 1-NIGHT STAY. Time zone changes from Eastern to Central.

Monday, March 31: Birmingham, AL - New Orleans, LA

Depart for LAUREL, MS, home to HGTV's Home Town renovation show starring Erin & Ben Napier. It's a hit series following this couple revitalize their home town.
Visit the LAUREL ROGERS MUSEUM of ART and learn about the history of Laurel.
Lunch will be on your own downtown.
See the murals and Home Town remodels from the outside on a GUIDED TOUR OF LAUREL AND HGTV'S HOME TOWN SHOW SITES in a PINK HUMMER STRETCH LIMO.

Depart for a CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR including stops at ST. LOUIS CEMETERY, THE GARDEN DISTRICT, and ST. CHARLES STREET.
Enjoy FREE TIME in JACKSON SQUARE for lunch on your own.
ADMISSION is included at the WORLD WAR II MUSEUM.
DINNER is included this evening at the NEW ORLEANS SCHOOL OF COOKING (pending availability).

Wednesday, April 2: New Orleans, LA

BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
Depart for CAJUN PRIDE SWAMP CRUISE for a morning adventure! Loccated on the private Manchac Swamp, this unique journey offers travelers a chance to experience Louisiana in its early days of swamp and bayou explorations. Being it is the sole swamp boat company to travel the swamps path; the many creatures that inhabit the area make many appearances. You'll observe an abundance of wildlife that is very respondent to your local captain's call. Many travelers experience the unique opportunity of being up-close with alligators from the safety of the boat. As you drift through the waterways, your captain will share with you the history of Louisiana's wetlands and surrounding areas.
BUFFET LUNCH is included at HOUMAS HOUSE & GARDENS. Following lunch, take a GUIDED TOUR of the Crown Jewel of Louisiana's River Road. Guides in period dress use artifacts, furniture, artwork, and stories of past owners to explain how this manor home grew into the grand estate it is today. Thirty-eight acres of formal gardens provide a leisurely self-guided tour with walking paths and sitting nooks throughout.
ADMISSION is included at OAK ALLEY PLANTATION. Experience one of the South's most intriguing settings built in 1839! Marvel at the unbelievable quarter mile-long alley of 28 magnificent Oak trees, each over 250 years old, that gave the plantation its name. Your GUIDED TOUR will reveal the fascinating stories of the home and its history. Perhaps the most photographed plantation over the years, Oak Alley has been the setting for such motion pictures as Interview with a Vampire, Primary Colors, and the wedding of Bo and Hope from the daytime soap opera, Days of our Lives. Experience the following exhibits on 28 historic acres: Slavery at Oak Alley, East and West Gardens, Blacksmith Shop, and Sugarcane Theatre.
Return to the French Quarter. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Thursday, April 3: New Orleans, LA

This morning TOUR GLOBAL WILDLIFE. This "naturally wild" experience will take you on a GUIDED WAGON TOUR on 900 acres home to many rare, endangered, and extinct wild animals from all over the world! You'll see them up close. Get eye-to-ey with a giraffe. Your tour guide will give educational and interesting facts in an entertaining format, making every wagon tour a unique experience. ANIMAL FOOD is included with your visit.
Enjoy a BRIEF CITY TOUR with EMILY from TANGI PARISH in PONCHATOULA, LA, America's Antique City! This main street is accessible to collectibles from country to Victorian, as well as glassware, furniture and so much more. This is the perfect destination for antique lovers!
Enjoy free time for lunch on your own.
This afternoon, embark on an adventure with KLIEBERT & SONS ALLIGATOR TOURS. With over 300 alligators ranging from 9 to 18 feet and over 47,000 turtles, Kliebert & Sons Alligator Tours will certainly give you a feel for the swamp. You and a group of brave companions can embark on inside and outside tours and visit these interesting reptiles as they nest, sunbathe, and relax in their natural habitats.
DINNER is included tonight at MIDDENDORF'S MANCHAC, famous for their delicious thin-friend catfish!

Friday, April 4: New Orleans, LA - Tupelo, MS

Check out and depart. Lunch and rest breaks will be made en route.
Arrive in TUPELO, MS and visit the BIRTHPLACE OF ELVIS PRESLEY. The most significant landmark of Tupelo's modern history is a modest, two-room house where the King of Rock & Roll was born on January 8, 1935. From this humble beginning, Elvis Presley began his swift rise to become the world's most popular entertainer. The house, built by his father with $180, draws over 50,000 visitors each year from across the world and is part of the 15-acre Elvis Presley Park. The home is a Mississippi landmark and the centerpiece of the park which includes, among many other exhibits, the popular photo-op "Elvis at 13" statue and Elvis' childhood church.
