This tour is considered a level 3 adventure tour for those who don't mind spending the day on your feet, those who enjoy sightseeing that includes walking, standing, or stair climbing and those who understand that these are longer days that are more active, such as multiple sightseeing stops and longer motorcoach journeys.

  • Arrive in BILLINGS. MT and check in to the DOUBLETREE for a 1-NIGHT STAY. Dinner will be at your leisure.

Monday, July 29

  • Depart for CODY, WY.
  • Enjoy LUNCH at TRAILHEAD.
  • Following lunch enjoy DAN MILLER’S COWBOY MUSIC REVUE CONCERT. Now in their 17th season, Dan Miller and his band provide award-winning musical entertainment.
  • Check in to the HOLIDAY INN CODY—BUFFALO BILL VILLAGE.
  • Tonight, come hungry, for an authentic CHUCKWAGON DINNER. Get steak, biscuits, beans, salad, and one-of-a-kind Dutch oven cobbler dessert - just like they made 'em out on the range.

Tuesday, July 30

  • ADMISSION to BUFFALO BILL CENTER OF THE WEST. Your admission includes FIVE AMAZING MUSEUMS, all under one roof. There's plenty to see! Explore Plains Indian cultures, trailblazing cowboys and cowgirls, classic and modern western artworks, and more!
  • Shoot your shot at CODY FIREARMS EXPERIENCE.You will have the opportunity to shoot two different guns from modern machines to historic flintlock weapons. Embrace the spirit of the West during this experience!
  • Visit the BUFFALO BILL DAM & VISITOR CENTER. You will be able to walk all the way across the top of the dam! Facing east, you'll look down 280 feet to the Shoshone River, and facing west, you'll have a closeup look of the Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Any way you turn. there will be breathtaking views!  
  • Enjoy FREE TIME for lunch on own and shopping in downtown Cody.
  • ADMISSION to OLD TRAIL TOWN. Step back in time during your visit to Old Trail Town with authentic frontier buildings from the 1890s!

Starting in 1919, the Cody Stampede Rodeo has been held every summer establishing this event as not only the longest running successful professional rodeos, but also the only place in the country that has a rodeo performance nightly, making Cody the rodeo capital of the world.

Wednesday, July 31

  • Pick up your STEP-ON GUIDE and depart for a full day of touring the UPPER LOOP YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. The Upper Loop takes you through some of the most scenic parts of Yellowstone offering great wildlife watching and unique thermal features. Popular sites include the NORRIS GEYSER BASIN, PAINT POT BOARDWALK, GRAND PRISMATIC, OLD FAITHFUL, and UPPER FALLS. A BOXED LUNCH will be included today.
  • Stop on the way out of Yellowstone for DINNER at PAHASKA TEPEE RESORT

Thursday, August 1

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • Visit the MEETEESE CHOCOLATIER to start your day with a sweet treat. You haven't tasted chocolate until it's been made by a Wrangler-wearing, belt buckle-boasting, hat-tipping cowboy! You will love trying his mouth watering truffles, treats, cakes and desserts.
  • Embark on the adventure of a lifetime through Shoshone National Forest on a SIDE-BY-SIDE RIDE.  This exhilarating and immersive experience will be the highlight of your trip. As you navigate the forest trails, you will be surrounded by towering mountains, dense forests, and crystal clear streams.
  • DINNER is included at the historic BUFFALO BILL'S IRMA HOTEL.

Friday August 2

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • This morning, depart for a WILD HORSE TOUR. Enjoy the morning cruising through McCullough Peaks Wild Mustang Herd Management area. This tour highlights the beautiful desert area with fun historical information about Buffalo Bill Cody and old mountain man tales. You will see beautiful views and cool geological formations all while on the search for the famous fighting mustangs.
  • Admission to the HEART MOUNTAIN INTERPRETIVE CENTER where you will hear stories of Japanese Americans confined here during WWII.
  • Enjoy a FARM TO FORK LUNCH.
  • Narrators, historical photos, and audio clips share the story of Buffalo Bill's town in the Rockies on the CODY TROLLEY TOUR.
  • DINNER is included at the scenic UXU RANCH. An optional HORSE TRAIL RIDE is available for $60 per person. There is a 230 lb weight limit for the horses. There are only 40 trail ride slots available. If you want to add this to your tour, please sign up when making your reservation. The ride will be 1 hour.

Saturday August 3

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel.
  • This morning, check out and depart for Billings. Fly home with wonderful memories of your Wild West Wyoming Adventure!
