Join other seafood lovers as they sample New England seafood fresh from the icy depths of the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. More than 50 of the Seacoast's top restaurants serve tempting seafood delicacies. Try Lobsters, fried clams, shrimp, BBQ ribs, steak tips, blooming onions, scrumptious desserts and so much more! There will be 80 arts & craft vendors, end of the season sidewalk sales, culinary demonstrations - plus continuous entertainment on two stages featuring jazz, oldies, and rock & roll! Stroll along the beach to see the sand sculptures and demonstrations by master sculptor, Greg Grady. End the night with the fantastic fireworks display.

Thursday, September 5

  • Depart from the Terminal with available pickups: Mansfield, Lawrenceville, Corning, Horseheads, Sayre
  • BREAKFAST is included this morning.
  • Lunch and rest breaks en route.
  • Arrive in PORTSMOUTH, NH and check-in to the HAMPTON INN PORTSMOUTH for your 3-NIGHT STAY. Meet a MAINE TOUR LOBSTERETTE upon arrival at the hotel and receive your Maine souvenir!
  • Tonight, roll up your sleeves for a TRADITIONAL MAINE LOBSTERBAKE in York Harbor! Step out back to see how the lobsters are prepared, then feast on your choice of Maine lobster or non-seafood entrees with clam chowder, steamed mussels, corn on the cob, Maine potatoes, and blueberry cake.

Friday, September 6

  • Enjoy BREAKFAST at the hotel this morning.
  • Meet your LOCAL GUIDE for a NARRATED RIDING TOUR of the PORTSMOUTH HARBOUR TRAIL'S HIGHLIGHTS. Starting in Market Square, your guide will lead you through downtown, along the waterfront and then down to Portsmouth's historic, residential South End. The tour provides and intimate look at Portsmouth's early and ongoing relationship with the river. You will also hear the fascinating stories of early settlers, patriots, ship captains, and industrialists. You'll stop along the way at St. John's Church to see the exceptional trompe d'oeil ceiling. At Prescott Park you will wander through the gardens and view the 200-year old Portsmouth Shipyard across the river where today US submarines are serviced.
  • Following the tour, admission is included to the STRAWBERRY BANKE MUSEUM. Experience life from the late 1600's to the 1950's along the Portsmouth waterfront by touring its houses, gardens, and courtyards at your own pace. Join costumed role-players as they go about their daily lives or relax in the shade of award-winning period gardens. Strawberry Banke is rich with history.
  • Enjoy some free time for lunch and shopping on your own.
  • This afternoon, enjoy a PORTSMOUTH HARBOR CRUISE through the smooth waters of the Piscataqua River and Portsmouth Harbor on a replica Victorian steamship. See the historic coastal landmarks on thie narrated harbor cruise. As you glide through the Portsmouth Harbor, you'll see a unique working port with tugboats, tankers and the nation's oldest and active naval yard.
  • Dinner will be on your own this evening at one of the many area restaurants.

Saturday, September 7

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel this morning.
  • Today enjoy the ANNUAL HAMPTON BEACH SEAFOOD FESTIVAL  - one of the tastiest events in the entire state. Join other seafood lovers as they sample New England seafood fresh from the icy depths of the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. More than 50 of the Seacoast's top restaurants serve tempting seafood delicacies. Try Lobsters, fried clams, shrimp, BBQ ribs, steak tips, blooming onions, scrumptious desserts and so much more! There will be 80 arts & craft vendors, end of the season sidewalk sales, culinary demonstrations - plus continuous entertainment on two stages featuring jazz, oldies, and rock & roll! Stroll along the beach to see the sand sculptures and demonstrations by master sculptor, Greg Grady. End the night with the fantastic fireworks display.
  • Lunch and dinner will be on your own while at the festival. There will be an optional bus pickup during the day for those who want to return to the hotel for a break before the fireworks.

Sunday, September 8

  • BREAKFAST is included at the hotel this morning.
  • Depart for BOSTON.
  • Enjoy a BOSTON DUCK TOUR - a unique land and water tour of Boston on an authentic, renovated WWII amphibious vehicle! Your narrated tour wil include historical information, little known facts, interesting insights, and lots of fun!
  • Upon conclusion of the tour, enjoy FREE TIME at QUINCY MARKET, Boston's #1 tourist attraction with hundreds of shops both inside and outside the three market buildings. Lunch will be on your own.
  • Depart from Boston. Dinner and rest breaks will be made en route.
  • Return to Wellsboro with wonderful memories of New Hampshire's Sea Coast!
